Job summary

PAK’nSAVE Tamatea in Napier is seeking an experienced Reach Truck/Forklift Operator to join the Grocery Evening Fill team, moving stock from storeroom to shelves and ensuring the store is fully stocked before 7am. Shifts run 5:30pm–4am Wed–Sat, with a full forklift licence (OSH) and NZ working rights required.

You will work in a collaborative team environment with competitive starting rates, allowances, and opportunities for development within Foodstuffs North Island.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence (OSH) and full driver's licence.
• At least 6 months supermarket experience.
• 6 months reach truck/forklift experience.
• Vigilant, accurate driver with health and safety focus.
• Proven team experience.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have NZ working rights.

Responsibilities

• Move stock from storeroom to the store and onto shelves.
• Stock the shop overnight before trading begins at 7am.
• Operate reach truck and forklift on the shop floor when the store is closed.
• Maintain health and safety standards on site.

The Role;

We’re looking for an experiencedReach Truck/Forklift Operatorto join the Grocery Evening Fill team to move stock from the storeroom, into the store and onto the shelves. The aim is to get the shop as fully stocked as possible overnight before trading begins at 7am. Due to Health and Safety requirements we are only able to have forklifts and reach trucks on the shop floor when the store is closed.

We are looking for a full reach truck driver, the shifts are 5:30pm -4am Wednesday to Saturday.

What are we looking for;

• A current forklift licence (OSH) holder with a full driver's licence
• ideally at least six months relevant supermarket experience
• Ideally at least six months reach truck/forklift driving experience
• A vigilant and accurate driver with a strong understanding of health and safety
• Proven experience in working withina successful team
• You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test & have valid working rights in New Zealand.
