Job summary

Gilmours Hamilton, part of Foodstuffs North Island, is seeking a Warehouse Assistant - Forklift (Reach) Operator to join a busy team. You will handle replenishment, stock movement, and RF scanner tasks in ambient and cold environments.

Applicants must hold a valid Forklift Reach license, be physically fit, and fluent in English. Previous warehousing experience and reliable attendance are valued; SAP training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be a reliable team player with a can-do attitude.
• Forklift Reach experience and an OSH certificate are essential.
• Be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting (25kg+).
• Flexible and adaptable to changing areas and departments.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.
• Previous warehousing/retail experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Replenish store stock and move items within storage areas.
• Operate forklift reach and counterbalance as required.
• Work in ambient and chilled/frozen environments.
• Use handheld RF scanners to process stock movements.
