Job summary

Qualifications

• Full New Zealand Driver's Licence.
• Be physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Experience and competence in the outdoors.
• Proficient in MS Office, data management and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; adaptable to different audiences.
• Strong health and safety focus; lead the health and safety of others.
• Experience with iwi, community partners, landowners and volunteers.
• Data collection, data analysis and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Protect Threatened Species: manage species and habitats.
• Tackle pests, control weeds and manage threats.
• Maintain heritage sites and recreational assets for public enjoyment.
• Blend office tasks with field opportunities and data reporting.
• Engage with iwi and community partners to support conservation goals.
