Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora seeks a motivated Patient Care Assistant to support the Radiology Service at Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Health Park. The role is a 40-hour-per-week permanent position, with shifts across a Monday to Sunday roster, contributing to smooth patient flow and team collaboration.

You will assist MRTs, Sonographers and Radiology nurses, delivering compassionate service and clear communication in a busy clinical environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a service-based environment.
• Must be physically fit and reliable.
• Comfortable with medical procedures including needles.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support patient flow in the radiology department.
• Assist MRT, Sonographers and Radiology nurses.
• Provide cross-site support across Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Health Park.
• Deliver compassionate patient service in a busy environment.
