Job summary

Waikato Hospital in Hamilton, New Zealand, is seeking an experienced Abdo/Pelvic Radiologist to join their Radiology department. The role involves interpreting and reporting CT, Ultrasound, X‑ray and MRI studies, including hepatobiliary/pancreas, urology, gynaecology and GI cases, with a mix of general and acute imaging.

You will participate in multidisciplinary meetings, teach registrars, and contribute to ongoing development of high standards within the department.

Qualifications

• Experience in Abdominal Radiology
• Experience in CT Colonography
• Experience in Male and Female Pelvic MRI
• O&G Imaging preferred
• Eligible for Registration as Specialist Diagnostic Radiologist with the Medical Council of New Zealand
• Subspecialty fellowship or interest in body imaging preferred

The details: Permanent, Full-time (80 hours per fortnight)

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Abdo/Pelvic Radiologist to join our Radiology department here at Waikato Hospital.

Day to day you will be interpreting and reporting imaging studies including CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray and MRI. You will be reporting abroad mix of complex clinical cases within your area of expertise, including hepatobiliary/pancreas, urology, gynaecology, gastrointestinal diseases. Your workload will also include general radiology and acute imaging.

You will participate in multidisciplinary meetings, teach registrars, and be involved with the continual development of high standards within the department.

• Participation in oncology multidisciplinary meetings
