We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiation Therapist to join our Dunedin team on a part-time, fixed term basis for 6 months.
The position involves working as part of a dynamic team utilising innovative technology and new initiatives to deliver contemporary radiation therapy to patients within the Otago and Southland regions.

Our department is equipped with state-of-the‑art technology, including two Elekta Versa HD linear accelerators with Active Breathing Coordinator (ABC) breath-hold capability, supporting the delivery of advanced radiation therapy treatments. We also utilise Brainlab ExacTrac on our existing Varian TrueBeam, enabling us to continue providing New Zealand's National Stereotactic Radiotherapy and Radiosurgery Service while further enhancing our established SABR programme. Treatment planning and simulation are supported by a Siemens go.Open Pro CT scanner with Varian Respiratory Gating and a range of specialised radiation oncology features. The department operates the full suite of Elekta software, including the Monaco Treatment Planning System and MOSAIQ Patient Management System, providing staff with access to leading‑edge technology and comprehensive treatment solutions.

We are looking for an experienced, solution focussed Radiation Therapist with the ability to be adaptable and flexible to join our team in Dunedin.
This role falls under the terms and conditions of the APEX Radiation Therapists Collective Agreement (8 April 2026 – 31 March 2028), Radiation Therapists Salary Scale, between Step 1 and Step 9, $79,014 to $116,133 per annum, pro rata.
