Naylor Love in Central Otago is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our established team. You will manage the commercial and financial aspects across projects, ensuring accurate reporting and strong value outcomes for our clients.

You will have proven experience with a main commercial contractor or specialist subcontractor, handling contracts, estimating, variations, and final accounts. Join a pro-active team delivering high-quality commercial construction projects in New Zealand.

The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our established Central Otago team.

In this role, you will play a key part in the commercial success of our projects, providing accurate and effective quantity surveying services across all technical and contractual aspects of project delivery. Working alongside talented industry professionals, you will help drive strong financial outcomes while contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality commercial construction projects.

We are looking for someone with proven experience working for a main commercial contractor or specialist subcontractor, with the ability to confidently manage projects of varying size and complexity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Project financial management and reporting
• Administration of construction contracts
• Pre-construction planning and support
• Estimating and tendering activities
• Letting and administration of subcontractors
• Identifying and managing variations
• Final account negotiations and project close-out
