A leading healthcare provider in the Waikato region is seeking a Quality, Safety & Audit Coordinator for Thames Hospital. This permanent part-time role involves supporting clinical staff, leading quality and safety activities, and maintaining audit actions across services. Ideal candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in similar roles, alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective teamwork and conflict resolution. The rural hospital and community services team includes Thames Hospital and Community, Tokoroa Hospital, Te Kuiti Hospital, Taumaranui Hospital and Community service staff in Hamilton. The Quality, Safety and Audit coordinator will work collaboratively with the other Quality, Safety and Audit co‑ordinators in the Southern Rural hospitals to ensure continuous quality improvement. This role reports to the Operations Manager - Thames Hospital and Community and is part of the wider non‑clinical team.
The Rural and Community Directorate understands that communities have their own solutions and unique requirements to meet their health needs. We understand the complexities of rural disparities and geographic challenges and the impact of this on health access.
