Position

QUALITY ENGINEER - MECHANICAL

As a Quality Engineer - Mechanical you will play a vital role in driving product excellence by evaluating and improving organizational processes. Key duties include monitoring product quality, collecting customer feedback, generating detailed quality reports, identifying areas for improvement, fostering strong cross-departmental relationships, and upholding rigorous quality standards. This position involves close collaboration across teams to enhance quality and streamline efficiencies throughout the product lifecycle. WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

  • Establish and oversee quality processes for product development and manufacturing.
  • Create and implement inspection procedures and analyse metrics to drive improvements.
  • Align quality systems across engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
  • Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and system audits.
  • Recommend initiatives to enhance product and system quality.
  • Offer expertise in quality assurance and training while addressing customer concerns.
  • Break down tasks, plan, estimate, and cut scope to ship on time.

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree of Science or Engineering or similar field
  • 3-5 years industry experience, ideally from the Aerospace, Automotive, Mechatronics or Marine industries
  • Knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, 8D, DFM, QC Tools

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Relevant experience in Aerospace Industry, such as assembly, test and integration.
