Job summary

MSD Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Qc Laboratory Technician for field-based work across the Wellington region, including Upper Hutt. You will inspect electrical assets, conduct condition surveys, and report findings using specialist software, ensuring safety standards are met.

The role requires a current NZ EWRB Practising Licence or Electrical trade qualification, relevant experience with distribution networks, and strong fault-finding abilities.

Qualifications

• Current NZ EWRB Practising Licence.
• Electrical trade qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with overhead lines, underground cabling, or distribution networks highly regarded.
• Based in NZ with full work rights is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and a proactive attitude.

We're looking for a qualifiedEWRB Registered Electrician to join a well-established and highly respected business supporting the Wellington electricity network. This is a highly varied field-based role where you'll travel throughout the region inspecting electrical and power assets, carrying out fault finding, assessing asset condition, and reporting on network performance.
