PwC in Wellington invites graduates to join its Private team as part of the Intern & Graduate Programme 2026. You will learn from advisers, build client relationships, and gain experience across compliance, advisory services and analytics while developing CA/CPA credentials.

Successful candidates typically are in final year or recent graduates with strong academics, communication, and leadership demonstrated through activities or work. Travel and visa conditions vary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting (CA pathway preferred).
• Be in your final year of study or have recently graduated.
• Intention to complete CA ANZ or CPA qualification.
• Strong academic performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Join PwC Private team in Wellington, commencing February 2027.
• Work with experienced advisers, building trusted client relationships.
• Gain exposure to compliance and advisory services across multiple clients.
• Assist with financial analysis, performance improvement, growth initiatives, accounting and tax compliance, finance technology and transactions.
• Leverage data, automation and AI-enabled tools to generate insights and aid decisions.

The Opportunity

We're looking for Graduates to join our PwC Private team in Pōneke/Wellington, commencing in February 2027. Our PwC Private team works alongside a diverse range of clients, from family-owned businesses and fast-growing startups to well-known New Zealand brands, helping them solve challenges, unlock opportunities and achieve long-term success. As a Graduate, you'll work alongside experienced business advisers, building trusted relationships with clients while gaining exposure to a broad range of compliance and advisory services. From financial analysis, business performance improvement and growth initiatives, to accounting and tax compliance, finance technology and business transactions, you'll help solve real business challenges and, contribute to meaningful client outcomes. What you'll bring
