  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification such as an Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred.

Fluid Recruitment is proud to partner with a specialist energy consultancy in search of a Project Manager

The Company

Our client are a well a established energy consultancy with a growing portfolio of largescale energy and infrastructure builds & refurbishments upcoming across the greater New Zealand. They are well‑regarded in the industry as technical specialists, with a strong track record of delivering energy & engineering projects projects.

The Role

As part of a specialist Project Management team, you will act as a key touchpoint across the entire project lifecycle, curating detailed plans, managing expectations, and driving the project through to commissioning.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Identifying project scope and work through feasibility studies.
  • Coordination with Design Engineers, Sub-Contractors, and internal & external stakeholders throughout the design management and project delivery phases.
  • Programme and cost management.
  • Promoting health & safety practices through each stage of the project lifecycle.
  • Ensuring project delivery in a timely manner, within scope and budget.
About You

To be able to hit the ground running and continue our client's growth in the region, you will have the following experience:

  • Strong track record of delivering projects in the Transmission, Distribution, Generation, or industrial sectors.
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification such as an Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred but not essential for the role
  • Excellent communication skills
