The Company

The team deliver leading custom PV and battery systems for government, industrial and commercial customers both in New Zealand and across the Pacific.

The Role

As an experienced Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading an exciting portfolio of commercial & utility scale solar projects across New Zealand and the Pacific valued up to $20 million. This pivotal position will see you:

• Managing project scope, delivering engineering design to meet forecasted timelines, specifications, and budgets
• Engaging with industry stakeholders such as government agencies, consultants, networks, suppliers, and community figures.
• Preparing regular reporting for internal & external stakeholders
• Interpret engineering principals across electrical, geotechnical, mechanical, and civil disciplines
• On occasion travelling to sites in New Zealand and in the Pacific

About You

Sharing in Sunergise's vision of providing equal access to high quality, clean, and affordable electricity, you will be an organised and efficient individual, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to deliver complex projects. This will likely see you as an experienced Project Manager coming from the energy sector or with an infrastructure provider. This role will see you bringing competencies in the following areas,

• Demonstrated experience in delivering solar PV, engineering, or construction projects
• Bringing strong skills within financial management and variations
• Having the ability to understand and express technical jargon in layman's terms
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Holding a relevant Engineering qualification in either Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical discipline
• Having knowledge of NZ 3910 contracts is desired but not essential
