Job summary

Higgins Bay of Plenty is looking for a Project Engineer to join our Mount Maunganui-based Construction Division. You’ll work with Project Managers and site teams to deliver civil construction and roading projects safely, efficiently and to specification, with involvement across planning and delivery.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification, professional accreditation, or equivalent practical experience.
• Civil engineering experience, ideally within roading, infrastructure or construction
• Knowledge of New Zealand legislation, industry standards and project requirements
• Experience developing project plans and coordinating people, resources and information
• Clear communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with clients, site teams and contractors
• Strong attention to detail, confidence using Microsoft Office and a current full driver licence
