We do this through our clinical support services, mental health and wellness services, virtual/tele health, mobile health, smoking cessation and by taking a population health and equity approach to our mahi. As New Zealand's largest Primary Health Organisation, we represent a network of general practice teams and healthcare professionals who provide care to nearly 700,000 patients across Auckland. These practices serve the largest Pacific and South Asian populations enrolled in general practice and the largest Māori population in Tāmaki Makaurau.

The Role

We are looking for a permanent, full‑time Project Administrator to provide wide‑ranging project and administrative support across an array of exciting health projects and initiatives.

The Project Administrator role will be instrumental in making sure operational and delivery teams receive crucial administrative support across all relevant service and project work, helping to ensure we are on track to achieving great outcomes for ProCare practices, their enrolled patients, and our strategic partners.

As part of this role you will assist in the monitoring and reporting of multiple service outcomes, the coordination of resources, the supporting of the delivery and operational teams, developing partnerships with community providers, processing claims, and general administration support. The Project Administrator will also be required to proactively look for efficiencies in process and flagging any issues or obstacles as early as possible and escalating as needed.

Key Skills
  • Strong administration and customer service focus (healthcare experience desirable)
  • Excellent written, communication and organisation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office; CRM experience is an advantage
  • Ability to build and maintain strong supportive relationships with both internal team members and external stakeholders.
  • An interest in or passion to play a part in improving equitable health outcomes for the population of Tamaki Makaurau
  • A desire to understand and appreciate Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to ProCare and how it shapes our efforts
