Job summary

Jora New Zealand is hiring 4 x Production Workers for a busy food manufacturing site in Masterton. You will join a fast-paced team, handling packing, processing and quality checks while following strict food safety and health & safety standards.

On-the-job training is provided, with ongoing full-time opportunities and potential for long-term employment for the right candidates. Ideal applicants are physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and willing to learn.

The role:

You'll be working as part of a busy production team where no two days are the same. Duties may include:

• Packing and processing products

• Operating production equipment

• Manual handling and lifting

• Quality checking finished products

• Cleaning and maintaining work areas

• Following food safety and health & safety procedures

What we're looking for:

• Physically fit and capable of being on your feet for long periods

• Able to comfortably perform repetitive lifting and manual tasks

• Reliable with excellent attendance

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Able to work well within a team

• Good communication skills

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is an advantage but not essential

You'll also need to:

• Pass a pre-employment drug test

• Be eligible to work in New Zealand

• Have reliable transport to and from work
