Job summary

JacksonStone in Wellington is seeking a procurement professional for a hands-on 9-month fixed term contract to support a defined programme of procurement and contract management improvements. The role requires strong knowledge of NZ public sector procurement rules and experience across sourcing, evaluations and supplier engagement.

The successful candidate will lead the establishment of procurement panels, develop practical tools and templates, review contracts and maintain a compliant contract

Qualifications

• Experience delivering procurement activities in the New Zealand public sector
• Strong knowledge of Government Procurement Rules and procurement principles
• Experience with sourcing, evaluations, supplier engagement and contracts
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, written and analytical skills
• Experience improving procurement processes and contract management practices

Skills & Experience Required
We’re looking for an experienced procurement professional who can combine strong delivery capability with excellent stakeholder management skills. You’ll bring a practical approach, sound judgement and the ability to work confidently across a range of business areas.
