This welcoming and well-established general dental practice in West Auckland is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic dentist to join their team in a long-term role. The practice has a loyal and diverse patient base and offers a professional yet friendly environment where collaboration and quality care are at the heart of everything they do.

The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options. The standard schedule runs from Tuesday to Friday (or Saturday), with Saturday work optional but always in demand. The ideal start date is January 2026. The practice features three surgeries and a strong, supportive team consisting of two dentists, an oral health therapist, experienced dental assistants, and reception staff.

The practice provides a wide range of treatments, from general dentistry and emergency care to advanced procedures such as oral surgery, endodontics, fixed prosthodontics, and IV sedation. You’ll have access to high-specification equipment including rotary endodontics, an intraoral camera and scanner, OPG, digital x-rays, surgical motor, EMS Airflow, and an IV sedation setup.

You will ideally have a minimum of five years’ experience, though less experienced clinicians with the right skill set and attitude will be considered. Confidence across all areas of general dentistry is essential, with skills in implant restoration, surgical extractions, and endodontics highly regarded. You should be comfortable planning and discussing comprehensive treatment with patients, have strong communication skills, and a compassionate, team-focused approach.
