Job description

About Us:

Fluid Recruitment is a leading national provider of specialised recruitment services across New Zealand. With over a decade of experience, we have grown into a leading brand, operating from offices in Dunedin, Wanaka, Christchurch, Wellington, and Sydney. We work across key industry verticals being Accountancy & Finance, Legal, Engineering and Commercial. Our aim is to provide a premium service, that is backed up by our superior industry knowledge and in turn is reflected in our fee structure.

About the Opportunity:

We are looking to continue our growth in 2025 and further expand our team through several key appointments. This opportunity is replacing an existing and well-regarded team member who is moving back into industry having originally come from an Engineering background. As such it means there is a well-established desk to step into from Day-1, with proven & successful client relationships across a well-defined market, providing repeat business of senior qualified recruitment needs.

This role is to be based in our Christchurch office, located on Victoria Street, however the role itself has a national focus. It would suit an experienced recruitment professional coming from an agency background who is comfortable operating in a 360 capacity, can work autonomously and is self-sufficient.

At Fluid Recruitment, you'll be part of a supportive, forward-thinking and agile agency. We've achieved consistent year-on-year growth by investing in our people and infrastructure. Equipped with the latest technology and analytics, we ensure our consultants succeed in all market conditions.

We pride ourselves on providing a highly competitive commission structure that sits comfortably above industry standard, and this is separate to further additional bonus offerings and incentives linked to individual performance, tenure and overall company success. Whether you're an accomplished biller wanting a fresh challenge/environment or a successful generalist looking to run a more rewarding and integral desk, we want to hear from you.

About You:

We're looking for agency professionals with:

  1. Ideally 5+ years of agency recruitment or related experience - with demonstrable experience of developing, building and maintaining their own client relationships across New Zealand or International Markets.
  2. A proven ability to thrive in target-driven environments, working autonomously while collaborating within a supportive team.
  3. A passion for recruitment, who wish to build their career for the long term. (We offer several professional development routes internally - staff, divisional, branch management and/or greater specialism and top billing)
  4. Genuine interest in contributing to a diverse & balanced social culture with a variety of team initiatives and events.

You'll fit right in if you're motivated, results-focused, and eager to contribute to a culture that celebrates team success and individual growth.
