Job summary

Davin Industries Limited in Christchurch is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to program and set CNC mills and lathes, read engineering drawings and support precision sheetmetal fabrication. You will optimise cycles, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to deliver high-quality components.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in a similar role, a background in sheetmetal or fabrication, and a detail-oriented, solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC programming in a production/ fabrication environment.
• Background in sheetmetal or fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Organised, detail-oriented and solutions-focused mindset.

• Programming and setting CNC mills and lathes
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Assist with maintaining punch and laser production as required
• Producing high-quality precision components
