Job summary

Enable Networks in Christchurch is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to turn data into trusted insights. You'll own BI solutions and work with stakeholders across Enable to drive value as the organisation moves toward cloud-based data services.

You’ll develop Power BI datasets and reports, optimize the data warehouse and ETL, and guide initiatives from concept to delivery, balancing business needs with technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Business Intelligence Development or BI Analysis.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouse environments.
• Experience developing Power BI datasets, dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and BI technologies like SSIS/SSRS/SSAS/Visual Studio.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to communicate with non-technical audiences.
• Autonomy to balance day-to-day BI work with new initiatives and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI datasets, dashboards and reporting solutions to support better business decisions.
• Collaborate with Enable stakeholders to understand needs and translate requirements into BI solutions.
• Lead data and technology initiatives including cloud-based data services transition.
• Develop and improve data warehouse and ETL processes for data quality and usability.
• Own BI initiatives from concept through delivery and stakeholder alignment.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting and data processes across the business.
• Provide BI, reporting and data guidance to help stakeholders maximize data value.
• Support data governance, quality and BI standards across the organisation.
