The Ministry of Social Development is seeking a Platform Manager - Microsoft 365 in Wellington to lead the strategic direction, delivery and evolution of the MSD M365 platform ecosystem. This fixed-term role ends 24 December 2027 and requires strong leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
You will drive platform strategy, governance and stakeholder engagement to deliver secure, reliable services that support thousands of New Zealanders across government initiatives.

As Platform Manager - Microsoft 365, you will be accountable for the strategic direction, operationalperformanceand ongoing evolution of MSD's Microsoft 365 platform ecosystem.
This is a highly visible leadership role that combines technology strategy, modern platform delivery, stakeholder engagement and people leadership. You will work across the Technology Group and wider business to simplify our technology landscapes, mature platform capabilities and create an environment where innovation, engineering excellence and continuous improvement can thrive.
This is a fixed term or secondment opportunity ending 24 December 2027.

We expect to appoint this position up to $181,982 however a salary offer will be based on the preferred candidate’s skills and experience and our team relativities.
