Job summary

New Zealand Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi) seeks a seasoned Platform Lead, Security to own the strategic and technical roadmaps for security platforms across hybrid cloud environments. You will drive lifecycle management, governance and scalable tooling to support enterprise outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders and oversee multi-vendor engagements while delivering platform improvements through agile initiatives and automation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise platforms in complex hybrid cloud environments.
• Track record of developing and delivering platform roadmaps and strategic plans.
• Experience across multi-vendor, multi-cloud and managed service environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and platform governance.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing technical capability.
• Strong programme delivery, coordination and problem-solving capability.
• Willingness to understand Te Ao Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the public sector.

You will bring strong technical credibility, strategic thinking and the ability to influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
