Salary Band C – $1 40,763 - $160,402 + Kiwisaver

Join our Plastics Service team in Dunedin, as a Non-Trainee Registrar working alongside experienced Plastic Surgeons and a range of other specialty colleagues. Based in the vibrant city of Dunedin, home to the University of Otago and Otago Medical School, this role offers exposure to a variety of clinical runs, including tertiary-level caseloads and complex reconstructive and plastic surgery presentations.
You will have the opportunity to provide healthcare across a large geographical region, gaining experience in a broad spectrum of surgical conditions and patient care. The department is committed to supporting your professional development through a comprehensive education programme that includes weekly teaching sessions, case discussions, journal clubs, and peer-review meetings.

This is a 12-month fixed-term position and includes participation in the Plastics Service after-hours on-call roster. The role may also require travel and the provision of clinical duties at other district hospital sites across the region. This role will be available to commence from December 2026.
