Job summary

Tradestaff New Zealand is seeking an experienced Plasterer to join a supportive local crew in Napier, working on residential renovations and new builds across Hawke's Bay. Immediate start with competitive hourly pay.

You'll prepare walls, apply plaster and stopping compounds, skim and finish to a high standard, repair cracks, and keep work areas tidy while delivering quality workmanship. We value a reliable attitude, a valid NZ driver licence, Site Safe, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous residential plastering experience.
• A good eye for detail and a quality finish.
• Reliable transport and a valid NZ driver licence.
• Site Safe certification.
• A reliable attitude and ability to get stuck in.

Responsibilities

• Preparing walls and ceilings for plastering.
• Applying plaster and stopping compounds.
• Fixing and stopping plasterboard.
• Skimming and finishing surfaces to a high standard.
• Repairing cracks, holes and damaged plaster.
• Sanding and preparing surfaces ready for painting.
• Working across residential renovations and new builds.
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy.

Got solid residential plastering skills and know how to leave a clean finish? We're looking for an experienced Plasterer to join a supportive local crew working across residential renovations and new builds in Napier.

Location: Napier, Hawke's Bay
Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $28-$32 per hour – paid weekly
