MPI in Wellington CBD seeks a Team Manager Plant Risk to lead a team of highly skilled specialists delivering science-based plant risk advice that safeguards New Zealand’s biosecurity. You’ll enable performance and wellbeing, drive continuous improvement, and work with Plant and Pathways leadership to set priorities, partner with stakeholders, and guide innovative approaches.

Competenze

• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong coaching, communication and people leadership skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across a range of stakeholders.
• Experience leading teams through change and improvement initiatives.
• Continuous improvement mindset and interest in new ways of working.
• Understanding of science, risk, regulatory or technical environments would be advantageous.
• Plant biosecurity experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
