Job summary

Pinehill Physio in Auckland is seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our growing team in a full-time role at our Pinehill clinic. You will deliver high-quality rehabilitation and physiotherapy services to a diverse patient population with a focus on musculoskeletal and movement health.

Requirements include APC registration, a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy (master's preferred), and at least 3 years' post-qualification experience in NZ.

Qualifications

• Valid APC and registration with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board.
• Bachelor's degree in physiotherapy or equivalent; master's preferred.
• NZ-based post-qualification physiotherapy experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and electrotherapy.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and home exercise programmes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Communicate with GPs and other specialists to ensure coordinated care.
• Contribute to clinical standards and ongoing professional development.
• Participate in continuing professional development to stay updated.

Job description

Pinehill Physio is seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our growing team in Auckland. This is a full-time position based at our Pinehill clinic, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation and physiotherapy services to our diverse patient population. As a physiotherapist, you will be at the forefront of patient care, utilising your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal and movement-related conditions. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' quality of life whilst working within a supportive, collaborative healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative conditions
• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, and functional rehabilitation
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes
• Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and home exercise programmes to support long-term recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, GPs, and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical standards and best practices within the clinic
• Participate in continuing professional development to stay current with advances in physiotherapy practice

What we’re looking for

• Valid APC and Registration with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board
• Bachelor's degree in physiotherapy or equivalent qualification. Master's in sports physiotherapy preferred
• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in physiotherapy practice in NZ
• Strong clinical knowledge and competency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal and movement disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and clinical management software
• Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing professional development
• Physical capability to perform the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and assisting patients with mobility
• Professional approach with strong time management and organisational skills
• Preferred: experience in sports physiotherapy, occupational health, or specialised rehabilitation settings
