Pinehill Physio is seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our growing team in Auckland. This is a full-time position based at our Pinehill clinic, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation and physiotherapy services to our diverse patient population. As a physiotherapist, you will be at the forefront of patient care, utilising your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal and movement-related conditions. Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative conditions
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, and functional rehabilitation
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes
- Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and home exercise programmes to support long-term recovery
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, GPs, and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical standards and best practices within the clinic
- Participate in continuing professional development to stay current with advances in physiotherapy practice
What we’re looking for
- Valid APC and Registration with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board
- Bachelor's degree in physiotherapy or equivalent qualification. Master's in sports physiotherapy preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in physiotherapy practice in NZ
- Strong clinical knowledge and competency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal and movement disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and clinical management software
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing professional development
- Physical capability to perform the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and assisting patients with mobility
- Professional approach with strong time management and organisational skills
- Preferred: experience in sports physiotherapy, occupational health, or specialised rehabilitation settings
