Woolworths Pharmacy in Dunedin is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead our team and deliver patient-focused health services. You’ll oversee staffing, dispensing accuracy, and customer care within a busy retail environment. We value leadership, a Bachelor of Pharmacy, current APC, and NZ working rights, plus retail experience.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with NZ registration (APC) and a Bachelor of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional health services that support community wellbeing.
• Organise staff and pharmacists to ensure adequate coverage.
• Be accountable for pharmacists and dispensing technicians in store.
• Dispense medicines accurately and assist customers with queries.
• Review stock levels and maintain high merchandising standards.

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Pharmacy Manager to join our team. You’ll be joining our Woolworths Pharmacy leadership team as we continue to create a customer centric offering to support our communities.

Joining Our Team And You’ll Take Accountability For

• Delivering professional health services that support the wellbeing of our wider community
• Organisation of staff and Pharmacist to ensure the pharmacy is suitably staffed
• Be accountable for the Pharmacist and Dispensing Technician in store
• Dispensing medicines accurately
• Assisting customers with pharmacy product queries
• Reviewing stock levels delivering high standards of merchandising
• Provide outstanding customer service

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a registered Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy, a current APC, and full New Zealand working rights to join our team. To really shine in this role, you'll need to be a confident leader with a passion for inspiring and motivating others. Extensive retail experience would be a big plus!

Because we’re also a training pharmacy with two intern pharmacists, you’ll need at least 3 years of experience under your belt and be comfortable taking on a preceptor role.
