Job summary

Crawford House Pharmacy in Howick is a busy, friendly community pharmacy. We seek a permanent pharmacy sales person, ideally five days per week with possible Wednesday off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy products and medications is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications and transactions
• Must be reliable, trustworthy, and committed to providing exceptional service
• Knowledge of the TONIQ POS Retail System would be a great advantage but full training will be provided
• Must have New Zealand Citizenship or New Zealand permanent residency or a work visa allowing you to work in New Zealand, with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Process sales transactions and handle cash transactions accurately
• Provide information and advice on over-the-counter medications and health products
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient operations
• Uphold high standards of customer service and adhere to pharmacy regulations
• Unpacking, receiving and pricing stock in shop
