Job summary
PHF Science seeks a Scientist for our Pharmaceutical Programme in Wellington. You will conduct chemical/physical analyses on pharmaceutical-like samples, develop and validate methods, and support QA and daily operations in a forensic analytics setting.
The role requires a chemistry/biochemistry/pharmacology/toxicology background with 5+ years’ lab experience, GMP/ISO/IEC 17025 familiarity, and strong communication. Flexible work options and a collaborative team are provided.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in chemistry/biochemistry/pharmacology/toxicology or related discipline, or substantial postgraduate experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical laboratory experience.
- Experience with GMP and ISO/IEC 17025 accredited labs.
- Skilled in analysis/characterisation/testing of pharmaceutical compounds using HPLC/GC/LC-MS.
Responsibilities
- Conduct chemical and physical analyses of pharmaceutical samples.
- Develop and validate analytical methods.
- Support QA activities and day-to-day operations.
- Prepare technical documents and reports.
