Job summary
The Isaac Construction Group in Greymouth, West Coast, is seeking an experienced Crane Operator for a permanent, full-time role. You will operate mobile, crawler and truck-mounted cranes and support earthworks and bridge projects on the West Coast.
Plan and execute lifts with riggers, follow lift plans and site requirements, and maintain clear communication with site teams to minimize disruption. Strong NZ licenses, safety focus, and teamwork are essential.
Qualifications
- Full NZ Class 4 licence and proven crane operation experience.
- Class 2 Pilot Licence and BESS Certification.
- Experience with rigging and slinging is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of NZ health and safety practices.
- Good communication and teamwork; legal right to work in New Zealand.
Responsibilities
- Operate mobile, crawler, and truck-mounted cranes safely and efficiently.
- Operate other plant including diggers and loaders with labouring duties as required.
- Plan and execute lifts with riggers following lift plans and site requirements.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and traffic management staff to coordinate worksites.
- Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies and permit-to-work systems.
