Job summary

Onehunga High School in Auckland is seeking an experienced curriculum leader to head the PE and health learning area. This role focuses on strategic leadership, curriculum and assessment oversight, and staff development to raise achievement.

You will drive data-informed decision making, uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and champion inclusive teaching across the faculty. This is a full-time fixed-term position commencing 28 January 2027 and ending 4 December 2027.

Qualifications

• Strong subject expertise in PE and Health and knowledge of NCEA.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to build teacher capability.
• Commitment to data-driven decision making and improving outcomes.
• Upholds Te Tiriti o Waitangi and promotes inclusive education.

Responsibilities
