As the Partner Account Manager (PAM), your primary focus will be managing and developing the Partner portfolio, driving innovation, and ensuring profitability for both Partner and Crayon APAC Channel. Focused on driving Microsoft initiatives across the New Zealand region, you will coordinate internal resources to facilitate development, sales, and deliveries to partners, while also collaborating on strategic plans to align with partner objectives. Additionally, you will identify and capitalize on business opportunities, foster value‑based sales, and cultivate long‑term relationships to drive success across solution areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Being the partner’s primary contact with Crayon, and responsible for knowing all Crayon’s delivery areas.
  • Developing Partner plans, which includes a governance model, aiming at the right level with Partner (preferably C‑level).
  • Understanding Partner’s business, strategy and challenges, and securing ongoing initiatives with Partners.
  • Responsibility for running and owning the sales and delivery processes against Partners.
  • Being proactive and gaining good knowledge of your own market as well as competitors, sharing market trends, synergies and news with Partners.
What we need to see from you
  • Channel sales experience, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Good knowledge of IT infrastructure and hosting environments with solid technical understanding of hybrid and cloud‑based solutions.
  • Knowledge of software licensing and cloud subscriptions, particularly within the Microsoft space, is an advantage.
  • Analytical and driven, good at building relations/networks, with ability to build trust with IT executives, technical resources.
  • Ability to understand customer’s business and understand licensing for multiple vendors.
