Job summary

Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers is seeking a Storeperson (part-time) for our Thames warehouse. The role requires independent work with good attention to detail and offers 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday during business hours.

Responsibilities include receiving and storing stock, picking/packing orders, maintaining inventory, forklift tasks, and generating packing slips. Must have NZ work rights and a valid NZ driver licence may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or storeperson experience preferred.
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift up to 25kg.
• Forklift licence preferred but open to training the right candidate.
• Computer literate (eg. produce packing slips on computer).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and store incoming stock.
• Pick and pack orders.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records.
• Load/unload deliveries safely (including forklift use).
• Create filtration parts using bills of materials.
• Produce packing slips using computer.
• Assist with stocktake and general warehouse duties.
