Job summary

Animates in New Zealand is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate for the Silverdale store. You will help pet parents with product advice, fulfil online orders, and support the store team while promoting our passion for pet wellbeing.

Our Silverdale store is perfect for pet lovers & animal enthusiasts. We are a fun, dedicated and hard-working team who are passionate about providing the best possible experience to pet parents. You fill find a cafe and bakery nearby and the team regularly get together for social staff nights.

This position is permanent part time, 24 hours per week and you’ll work Sunday to Wednesday.

What will I be doing?

This isn’t your regular customer service role. Here at Animates, the advice you give and the products you sell make a real difference to the lives of pets.

Our values-led culture and extensive training will develop your expertise to provide specialist nutrition advice, suggest educational toys and know what fish species make good tank-mates + much more! Other daily tasks include fulfilling eCommerce orders, and you may be required to lift heavy items e.g. bags of dog food.
