Job summary

Northland Kindergarten Association is seeking an inspired ECE educator to empower young learners in a 20-hour-per-week role. The position offers significant professional growth with induction and mentoring for new graduates, and support for wellbeing and activity participation.

Applicants must hold a NZ ECE qualification (Dip Teaching ECE), current practising certificate and first aid cert. Applicants must reside and be eligible to work in NZ. 2026 graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised New Zealand ECE qualification (minimum Dip Teaching ECE).
• Current practising certificate and first aid certificate required.
• Applicants must reside and be eligible to work in New Zealand at time of applying.

Responsibilities

• Teach across five 6-hour sessions, Monday–Friday, 48 weeks per year.
• Support tamariki (children) to empower learning and development.
• Provide induction and mentoring for new graduates.
