This is an opportunity to work within a community-based Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) service supporting adults aged 18 and over. The service takes a flexible, community-focused approach, meeting people in places where they feel safe and comfortable – including whānau homes, local parks and community living environments.
You’ll work as part of a dual Peer Support and Clinician model, partnering closely and equally with Peer Support Specialists. Together, you’ll provide holistic, culturally responsive assessment, treatment and outreach that recognises the individual, their strengths and their recovery goals.
