Green by Nature is seeking a multiskilled Response Operator to support the Tararua team in Dannevirke. This hands-on role involves a variety of outdoor tasks, including gardening, mowing, and maintenance of public spaces.

Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude and experience with horticultural duties. The role offers guaranteed hours, with potential increases based on demand, and additional benefits such as a wellness allowance and provided uniforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in gardening, horticulture, or outdoor maintenance preferred but not essential.
• Comfort operating equipment or willingness to learn.
• A full, clean driver licence is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Gardening and horticulture duties, including planting and pruning.
• Operating mowers across parks and reserves.
• Supporting reactive maintenance tasks for council assets.
