Hato Hone St John in Kawerau (Bay of Plenty) is seeking a qualified Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician to join our team on a fixed-term full-time basis. The role operates a 4 x 4 DDNN roster with an average of 42 hours per week, through to June 2027, delivering high-quality pre-hospital care to our communities.

The successful applicant will hold current Authority to Practice at Paramedic or EMT level, current APC if applicable, and demonstrate excellent clinical performance, safe driving,

Qualifications

• A current Authority to Practice at Paramedic or EMT level
• Current Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) from Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council if you hold Paramedic ATP
• Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
• Excellent driving record
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
• A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
• The ability to work under pressure
