Job summary

Resene is looking for a part-time Shop Assistant in Christchurch City, Canterbury. You will help promote and sell Resene products to trade and retail customers while maintaining a clean, organized shop.

You will work Saturdays 9am–4pm with a 6.5 hours minimum per week, and participate in tinting, POS operations, and daily shop duties. You will provide colour and technical advice, support large orders with the Sales Rep and Shop Manager, and attend monthly after-hours training evenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist to maximise promotion and sales of Resene products to trade and retail customers.

• Handle 4L and 10L paint pails safely.
• Assist with daily shop duties and store closing procedures.
• Provide colour and technical advice to customers.

Description

Working alongside the Shop Manager, you will help to maximise the promotion and sales of Resene products/systems to our trade and retail customers, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the Shop.

The Role

• Saturday 9am - 4pm

• Manual handling of 4L and 10L paint pails


• General daily shop duties and closing procedures of the store
