A healthcare provider in New Zealand is seeking an Orderly for their Emergency Department. The role involves safely moving patients and items, and ensuring effective department operations. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, physical fitness, and a clean driver’s licence. This is a permanent full-time position with set hours and shift requirements.

As an Orderly in the Emergency Department, you will provide patient care by safely moving patients and items around the hospital in a courteous, professional and well-presented manner. Your presence will contribute to the effective day-to-day operations within the department.
This role is permanent full-time working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7.00 AM to 4.30 PM. It will be important that you are available to work rostered and rotating shifts Monday to Sunday. No on-call is required.
In addition to hourly rates, we pay penalty rates for evening and weekend work, and additional payments/time off if you are rostered to work on a public holiday.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
