Health New Zealand in Auckland is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to provide support care to individuals and their families under the direction of registered clinicians. You will collaborate with clients to identify and develop skills that improve recovery and quality of life in the community.

The primary purpose of the role is to provide support care to individual clients and/or their families under the direction of Tupu Ora registered clinicians and to work alongside each individual and/or their family to identify and develop the necessary skills required to improve their process of recovery and quality of life in the community.
Tupu Ora is a regional specialist service providing assessment and treatment for, children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders. Tupu Ora also provides consultation to and liaison with community services and hospitals in the Metro Auckland and Northland region. Tupu Ora has a continuum of services including community/outpatient, intensive day programme and residential options. The Tupu Ora community team provides specialist treatment to children, adolescents and adults presenting with moderate to severe eating disorders in the community and inpatient setting. Our community team is comprised of both a child and adolescent and an adult team.
