Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau in Whangarei Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team in a permanent part-time role with on-call weekend and public holidays roster.

The appointee will work across inpatient and outpatient services, rotate through Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Stroke and Rehabilitation, and contribute to a high-quality, patient-centred OT service within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• New Zealand registration as an Occupational Therapist with current practising certificate.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
• Awareness of Occupational Therapy theory and principles of practice.
• Experience is preferred but all are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services to designated inpatients and outpatients at Whangarei Hospital.
• Rotate across Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Stroke and Rehabilitation services every 6–12 months.
• Work within a supportive multidisciplinary team with regular supervision and development opportunities.
