Job summary

Laura Fergusson Trust in Lower Hutt is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver community-based rehabilitation. The role focuses on brain injury and complex disability support, with on-site work at the Trust's facilities and in clients' homes as needed.

You will conduct assessment, intervention, equipment provision and education to restore independence and participation in daily life. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and a supportive, inclusive culture are core to this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy is required.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience.
• NZ Practising Certificate.
• NZ full driving licence.
• NZ citizen, resident or holder of a work visa.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload independently.

Occupational Therapist / Kaihaumanu Mahi – Community Team

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist. This position is based in the community (greater Wellington region) and on-site at Laura Fergusson Trust in Lower Hutt. This role will work with clients with brain injury or other complex disabilities/injuries.

This role involves a variety of clinical work (assessment, intervention, innovation, equipment, and education) for injury-related rehabilitation to restore clients’ independence & ability to participate in their everyday life:

• Assisting clinical aspects within our residential service include assessing and treating clients to achieve independence and wellbeing
