Healthcare Academy of New Zealand (HANZ) is expanding its academic team and seeking a Clinical Tutor - Nursing to deliver the Diploma in Enrolled Nursing (Level 5) and supervise learners in the classroom and on clinical placements.

You will guide students to apply theory in practice, develop essential nursing skills, and ensure competencies for registration are met, in collaboration with placement coordinators and workplace preceptors.

Qualificações

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Commitment to cultural responsiveness and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• Prior tertiary or vocational teaching experience is preferred.
• Ability to supervise learners in clinical settings and support their learning.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver engaging teaching in face-to-face and online formats.
• Facilitate clinical learning in real-world settings alongside preceptors.
• Support learners to meet academic and clinical expectations.
• Assess learner progress and readiness for Nursing Council exams.
• Contribute to curriculum development and programme improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical partners to maintain high placement standards.
