Job summary

Victoria University of Wellington is seeking a two-year fixed-term, part-time Clinical Practice Adviser to join Te Puna Hauora – School of Health, starting March 2026. You will supervise, instruct, and mentor nurse practitioner candidates while contributing to HLTH544 planning and development.

The ideal candidate will be a registered Nurse Practitioner with a current practising certificate, have Masters-level qualifications, and demonstrate strong teaching and communication skills in a diverse

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with current practicing certificate, as required for the role.
• Evidence of successful teaching in a relevant field at tertiary level.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, instruction, and academic mentorship for nurse practitioner candidates.
• Contribute to planning and development activities related to HLTH544.
