Job summary

Keith Andrews Trucks in Manukau is seeking a qualified Heavy Diesel Technician to join our night shift team, keeping trucks and commercial vehicles running safely and efficiently. You’ll diagnose faults, perform repairs and servicing in a well-equipped workshop, with strong focus on quality workmanship.

The role requires at least 3 years of diesel experience, good diagnostic skills, and solid teamwork. We offer a competitive hourly rate, tool and meal allowances, and ongoing manufacturer

Qualifications

Heav y Diesel / Automotive Technician required.
Minimum 3 years' experience with diesel engines or heavy vehicles.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faults across diesel engines and vehicle systems.
Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Complete job documentation and maintain accurate service records.
Communicate with Service Advisors and customers regarding repairs.
Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workshop environment.
