JO&JOE is opening its new hostel in Auckland! And is looking for its next Night Audit / Cleaner.

Come and write a page in the history of JO&JOE, by being part of the opening team! The Night Audit / Cleaner is a dual‑role night owl who keeps our spaces spotless and our records sharp while the city sleeps.

• Perform nightly cleaning of public areas, restrooms, and back‑of‑house spaces to maintain JO&JOE’s high standards.
• Complete end‑of‑day financial audits, reconcile transactions, and prepare reports for the morning team.
• Assist with late check‑ins and guest queries, always with a warm and professional attitude.
• Monitor safety and security throughout the property, reporting any incidents or concerns.
• Restock supplies and ensure all areas are ready for the next day.
• Maintain accurate records and follow procedures for cash handling and system updates.
• Be a reliable, independent team member who thrives in the quiet hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, hospitality, or front office roles (bonus if you’ve done night shifts before).
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with basic accounting or audit tasks.
• Ability to work independently and stay focused.
• Calm, friendly, and professional under pressure.
• Strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and security protocols.
• A desire to learn and grow.

• Language required: English
