Job summary

Active Health in Christchurch is seeking a junior/new graduate physiotherapist to join our friendly team. The role offers mentoring, clinical support and opportunities to learn from experienced physiotherapists across two clinic sites in Christchurch.

You’ll work with a varied caseload including musculoskeletal injuries, ACC rehabilitation and postoperative rehab, with plenty of professional development and a supportive environment to grow your confidence and skills.

Qualifications

• New graduate or junior physiotherapist
• Registered, or eligible to register, with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand
• Positive, enthusiastic and “can-do” attitude
• Genuinely enjoys helping people achieve their goals
• Willing to learn and comfortable asking questions
• Communicates well with patients, whānau and colleagues
• Organised, reliable and able to manage time effectively
• Values evidence-based practice and ongoing learning
• Understands culturally safe and patient-centred care
• Enjoys being part of a supportive and collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Work with a varied caseload including musculoskeletal injuries, ACC rehabilitation, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and private patients
• Receive mentoring and clinical support from experienced physiotherapists
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
