New Zealand Defence Force seeks Hydrographic Survey Officers to lead survey work essential for naval operations and to support beach landings and route planning through minefield zones. You will be trained as a leader, a mariner and a surveyor, with a diverse career across hydrographic roles inside and outside the trade.

The role starts under training with Warfare Officer training, progressing to hydrographic survey specialization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old by the time you graduate from recruit course.
• Medically and physically fit for military duties worldwide.
